What is KVS?
KVS (Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan) recruits for various posts such as:
- PRT (Primary Teacher): For classes 1 to 5.
- TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher): For classes 6 to 10.
- PGT (Post Graduate Teacher): For classes 11 and 12.
- Other positions include Principals, Vice Principals, Librarians, and Clerks.

TGT & PGT Exam Pattern
- General Hindi and English: 20 questions each.
- Reasoning & Current Affairs: 20 questions.
- Teaching Methodology: 20 questions.
- Subject-Specific: 80 questions.
- Total Questions: 150 | Time: 3 hours.

Eligibilty Criteria
Educational Qualification
PRT (Primary Teacher):
- 12th pass with 50% marks.
- D.Ed/B.Ed and CTET qualified.
TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher):
- Graduation with 50% marks.
- B.Ed and CTET qualified in the relevant subject.
PGT (Post Graduate Teacher):
- Postgraduate degree with 50% marks.
- B.Ed in the relevant subject.
Age Limit
- PRT: Maximum 30 years.
- TGT: Maximum 35 years.
- PGT: Maximum 40 years.
- Age relaxation is available for reserved categories.
Application Process

- Go to the “Recruitment” section and read the notification.
- Fill out the online application form.
- Pay the application fee:
- PRT/TGT/PGT: ₹1000.
- SC/ST/Women Candidates: No fee.
Cut-off marks vary yearly depending on the post, category, and exam difficulty.
General Category (PRT): 85–95 marks.
OBC (PRT): 80–90 marks.
SC/ST (PRT): 75–85 marks.
